Mission & Vision

Light to all nations

The words on our seal express our calling: to carry the light of the gospel of Jesus Christ to every nation.

Our mission

To bring the gospel to perishing souls

In the words of the Supreme Head, there is now more than ever an urgency for aggressive evangelism, especially in the face of the prevailing permissive society. The Church exists to proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ in its totality and to bring perishing souls back into the Kingdom.

“Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.”
Mark 16:15

Our vision

A church that is a light to all nations.

Taken from the motto on the Church's seal: “Light to all nations — of Nigeria & Overseas.”

To be completed by the church administrator

Official vision statement

If the General Conference has adopted a formal written vision statement, add it here so it appears alongside the motto.

What we are committed to

Our commitments

Evangelism as the cornerstone

We hold dearly the parting instruction of our Lord Jesus Christ to go into the field to evangelise (Mark 16:15; Matthew 28:19). The present leadership has made evangelism the cornerstone of its administration.

Pastoral care and teaching

To nourish new converts, counsel all and sundry, and teach the Word of God — including through the Church's Seminary and Theological School.

Spirit-led and Pentecostal

Revolutionary in nature, Pentecostal in approach, evangelical and pastoral in operations, without losing the basics as a truly Holy Spirit-guided church.

A new social order

Setting in motion a new social order to remove the stigma unfairly placed on white garment churches.

Freely given ministry

Healing with sanctified oil and water without a charge, as commanded in Matthew 10:8, served by tent-making priests who avoid being a burden on the Church.
